The third consecutive time I go to the Trail of hamlets close to the house. This year the race is part of the Challenge Trail South Isere (which I would participate not) allowing it to have a hundred competitors in both formats.

I aligned the great course with Bernard. 28km to the program and 1300D + with splendid views of the Obiou , Le Mont Aiguille and Vercors, all under one sun finally this!

It left for the third edition of the Trail of Hamlets

-

The start is given at 9:15. We keep the same strategy during the race as the Round Tram : I'm behind Bernard as usual before taking off on the first climb (me and be joined by Mr. finisher!). We are 975m, climb up towards the Chauvet 1475m altitude. I run with a Gapençais, Roberto and his colleague Gérard club.

It gives not want to keep a supply that?

We will go through nearly three quarters of the course together and make treat for the eyes!

Splendid view Obiou

-

After the tour of Chauvet, we descend on the Col de l'Holme (1208m) to reach High Pass (1480m). The hard part is done, nobody joined us on the climb.

Lami Ricoré Roberto and thoroughly in the bumps

The Friend and Roberto Ricoré thoroughly in the bumps

-

I decide to let go of the horses in the big downhill and follow the following two High Alpine. Bad choice since I left a lot of feathers and bumps that follow are a real ordeal. I'm ... distanced

A headache I take, I am ko! I decided to stop my running 1 or 2 'time to take a gel, drink 50cl of energy drink, short of emptying my bottle cage and his back pocket!

Finally ... a good idea since I galley still good 5 minutes walking and then resume at a good pace!

Bernard mainenant me in their sights but do not hang up immediately because also suffers a lot. Only one runner passed me but I have doubled the meantime another 1-1 = 0 is almost the first one on a trail where I used to crack.

Bernard saccroche

Bernard raiser!

-

Bernard arrives and motivates me to end up together, there is a good climb 2km which we will be walking: front, Gerard (Hautes-Alpes, you follow?) Is 2 'and we see a rider behind us at the foot the rating of some 300m ... it's over the classification will not move.

I have time to kiss my wife and take my little piece, Bernard would expect and we cross the finish line in 2:46 every 3 '

Marty, Lami Ricoré and Bernard on the finish line!

Marty, the Friend Ricoré and Bernard on the finish line!

-

Our ranking 12 and 13 of about 50 to 60 participants.

, le 3ème est justement le coureur qui m'a doublé ! Bernard is the second surprise V3 and I am Senior 4 th, the third is just the runner who passed me!

We await the awards ceremony for Bernard and surprise, I am leaving with a camelback SOLOMON REVO, great product.

A big thank you to the organization that is at the top each year. We were treated to good weather and I can assure you that this journey worth it!

We run to finish a Pic-nic near the function room then towards Gap to see the grandparents and return home at night, yes a Super Sunday

Following test COLUMBIA Ravenous:

Always as good cushioning, I concquis. Good grip on descents even on slopes.

By pointing against a big 0 for lacing: I have to redo my left lace so tight that I had shoes like crazy. I took a huge blister on the heel for the shoe slipped while the lace stood out ... fortunately there was only 28km, Les 2 Alpes, it will not forgive!

Hoho, but you have modest victory :)
    4em S, but what champagne!
    BRAVO yes good race.

Same conclusion regarding Ravenous, there's a BUG at the laces, there are too boudinets should be shot like an ass for 1/un 2/éviter gripping of having to redo them along the way.

You no a link garmin? I would be curious to see how you swallow these lumps.
