Day CP asked Thursday, July 28, with Nico, we decide to cross the chapel (Valgaudemar) in Chapel (Valjouffrey) is a small part of the turn of the Oisans and GR54 variant:

It lacks the Col de Belle Cote on the map top left and the village of Valsenestre that we cross to reach the lowest Valjouffrey Chapel in a path, it will be the end of a journey of about 42km and 4050D +

The start is given to about 8:15 in the morning from the parking lot of the Chapel in Valgaudemar. We pass four riders in the TOE ( Tour de l'Oisans-Ecrins ) organized by an Ultra Raidlight 12000D + 180km and no less!

Not until the rise of Olan (2683m) is made by walking, there is no question of roasting on the 1600D + vertical drop available to us.

It will take about 2 hours to reach the refuge of Olan (2344m) and a half hour to the No Olan. The sun appears above 2500m, we enjoy a ten minute of the wonderful view:

It is now running fast enough with Nico as we go down the trail toward the pass of Dove (2260). We have both the HOKA MAFATE is what is at this point that we enjoy most of their cushioning to hit in the scree to the steep Dre! That happiness.

After a pause to fill water containers, we tackle the Col de la Vaurze where we doubled five riders in the Tour de l'Oisans ranked in the top 15. 130km in the legs after they have still a good staggering rate!
