Some time ago I received an email from an agency com indicating the opening of a Jack Wolfskin shop in Grenoble :

To summarize, this shoe is said to be resistant to water, but with a robust shock absorbing sole to practice trail-running in extreme conditions! It's best summed it not? Well it's a little sauce "Ricoré" but we understand better that way

My first outing is held at third on the road and two thirds in the snow of late December, verdict:

If this is to run on the road, past your way! The sole is fairly stiff and the shoe too heavy to take pleasure in place. But they are not made for that course. I still enjoyed the SHOCK ABSORB SYSTEM (damping element in the heel) which relieves the cool mode place the foot on the asphalt.

By cons in the snow I was particularly surprised by the stability of the shoe. The MOTION GUIDE (stabilization between sole ext / int) and sock TRAILSPEED have significant effects.

To summarize I think Jack Wolfskin has developed here a hiking boot faster and not a true trail shoe that will fill the walker who want to have fun from time to time in a downhill or on flat running on small portions of his walk.

I know what they will serve me now: the weekend of hiking in which Taillefer Trail Team after the release of the day with friends and family I would add a bit of D + by joining a collar above the hut!

The advantage to the climber is undeniably its impermeability and stability.
