: Eh bien trop tard je l'ai déjà eu en avance ce cadeau, merci Christmas Frolic (toujours pas les croquettes pour chien mais bien une compétition de course à pied !). 41'41 "this is what I could have written the list to send to Father Christmas (with a bike, a red Ferrari and a winning lottery ticket $ 1,000,000): Well, too late I have been in advance this gift, thank you Christmas Frolic (still not the dog food but a competition running!).
The santa is ahead!

It all begins this Sunday, 7 December 2008 on the banks of the Torrent River in Adelaide:

10km walk along the river a few bumps but nothing special ... there are about 100 participants (on the 5 and 10km walkers and runners):

The organization is not too bad ( SA Road Runners ) it picks up a portion of the bib once past the finish line. A refueling km5 and a breakfast to finish.
The atmosphere is relaxed as ever in Australia.
In terms of my race, let the numbers speak:
- 4'06 "
- 4'07 "
- 4'09 "
- 4'04 "
- 4'06 "
- 4'12 "
- 4'07 "
- 4'18 "
- 4'17 "
- 4'14 "
A nice drop in speed between KM8 and 9 (the last mile is not final, I expect the results)
I crossed the line in 41'41 "without sprinting I even know why? Satisfied asking nothing more ...
The objectives of the year are met:
- Marathon 3:45 to 3:28
- Half Marathon 1:38 to 1:37 (could do better)
- 10km from 42'13 "to 41'41"
-
Now up to 2009 with new lap ahead. I've never tested over short distances, next year I would have three races to set my time references and gain speed (4.5 km - 7km and 9km).
Back in France I would prepare some trails (less than 30km) for the summer, a half marathon and a marathon for the fall (I will take time to resume the long rides ...) Voila voila.
@ Teddy!
