Hello everyone,

Taillefer the Trail Team is born: http://www.tttrail.fr

Taillefer Trail Team

in abbreviations of TTTRAIL lies a community of traileurs who roam the massive peaks of the Oisans, Ecrins and makes you share his discoveries!

This team saw the day a little after -Oisans Ecrins Trail course that I attended. Jean-Marc, our guide avid mountain race and region I was offered various challenges with our industry as a theme-Oisans Ecrins: OFF races, topo trail / ATV ...

I immediately thought of a team as it created a lot today to let other enthusiasts to enjoy.

the TTTRAIL will aim to:

  • form a team at events (Trails, living off outputs, relays ...)
  • Show on our official site links (reports, test gear ...)
  • Test materials with different partners we shall know by our blog or on the many events that our members cover.
  • Order items in bulk then negotiating tariff (Team T-shirt ...)
  • identifying with a group!
  • ...

If this interests you, thank you for making a quick turn on the blog http://tttrail.fr

The requirements to be part of Team Trail Taillefer: Join us at least once in the season on a stage OO'S ( OFF Oisans )

For the logo I find something simple, either one of you can we create something that kills the egg ...

ENJOY!

It will be a little poll to select the name that we need when many people are interested.

Oisans Ecrins-Stage Trail Day 4

Day 4 - Besse en Oisans / Auris / Bourg d'Oisans

  • Date: Sunday, June 20, 2010
  • Distance: approximately 20-22km
  • Elevation: 600mD + and 1500D-
  • Start Location: Besse en Oisans (1550m)
  • Arrival: Bourg d'Oisans (720m)
  • Climax: Maronne Pass (1700m)

Last stage of their training in lowering profile to return Bourg d'Oisans. The weather is rotten, 0 ° C isotherm is at 1500m (vinvin20 thank you for your text message!) And it just snow Besse en Oisans!

Suffice to say that we start wearing three layers under a very cool time for the season.

Before that, Martine has prepared pancakes, each uses a half-dozen of the foli breakfast ...

From 9 am we are on a part of bitumen to join Clavans down (1368m) and warm in light jogging.

The trails take over direction Puy Bas (1300m) still slightly down flat wrong.

We climb toward the resort of Auris en Oisans by the courts (1413m)

No pause, we get wet and chilled (well for me!). The morale on the socks to resort Auris en Oisans where we pass over the fog.

Sight must be splendid since Auris ... shame! We're off to Col Maronne without trainer.

At the top stuns the wind. No lunch break we will get right to hurtle down 800m D-

The descent begins gently to become dizzy: It will cling to a rope type via ferrata not to slip!

We arrive at Bourg d'Oisans to about 13h, we have not dragged on the road!

Jean-Marc welcomes us into his house for a shower and enjoy the snack in the morning given by "Saret".

After warm up, eat a good salad and rice Murçon and the walnut tart Women JM (delicious, thank you!), We make an assessment of the course and everyone goes home!

My assessment:

I loved to discover this part of the Oisans I did not know despite the bad weather. The Lake Lauvitel is splendid, the plateau Emparis grand and authentic villages say that we've been through.

I am very pleasantly surprised by his discoveries, which I thought was a Oisans valley always in the shadow : No: I had it all wrong!

Even the town of Bourg d'Oisans, from this perspective is cute (its market, its developments aside, its steep paths towards ... 2000m).

The team was on top, we are all very well understood, especially for our accompanist merntion ETIQ the Adventure which has provided throughout the stay!

Listed on training, I am satisfied, I cashed the load on me four days to raise within the mounted end of the day he left me a little in socks, bodes well for the future of the Trails summer ...

The next year I sign away if JM and "Running without Frontiers offer an internship Trail in the Queyras. A word, hello!

Stage-Oisans Ecrins Trail Day 3

Day 3 - Mizoën / Plateau Emparis / Besse en Oisans

  • Date: Saturday, June 19, 2010
  • Distance: 30km
  • Elevation: 1550mD + and 1210D-
  • Start: Mizoën (1186m)
  • Arrival: Besse en Oisans (1550m)
  • Climax: Plateau Emparis (2260)

The weather turned bad, we escaped the rain yesterday (the only day without rain of course!) But now it is complete fog.

We left a little disappointed because we Mizoën doubt that the view from the plateau Emparis will bite ...

The evening meal (steak and fries) and the breakfast this morning have difficulty moving, my head's in the bag ... Anne and Pascal will need to review your special menu rider!

We climbed this morning over 2000m for eating on the shelf Emparis.

JM has concocted a high-flying journey that overlooks the Chambon dam, the view would be wonderful if there were not that thick fog.

Formerly, the factor borrowed this path every day to deliver mail to residents of the hamlet. A sacred traileur this factor!

The race takes place in two days, we have the opportunity to test the ground ... downhill! We also believe the buoy (FFRP and Tourist Office in Bourg d'Oisans).

The first kilometers in the morning are strong in this very technical trail:

Once downstairs, we will resume jogging 10km from flat to go to the foot of Lake Danchère Lauvitel, the first challenge of the marathon day!

Nothing to say about this passage is that apart from the shade and it allows us to foul up the pace and to digest the breakfast!

We arrive at a crossing shortly before Danchère to start the ascent. Everyone will do it at their own pace and as I appreciate the climbs I am pleased and get a good sweat!

For this final climb of the day, I decided to tease a little and I give JM a good pace during the first 300 meters of altitude ... the guy does not let go and now I finally let go before because I no longer potato!

That said, I'm in good shape because I already astonishing feathers left on Thursday ... Had I been lied? Without the knowledge of my own free will?

In any case the infusions and the engine in the shoes make me feel the effect, I would end by crushing the trapper!

Stage-Oisans Ecrins Trail Day 1

I just returned from internship Trail Oisans Ecrins-organized by the association "Running Without Borders" (more info here ):
We split despite winter weather. Here is an account in 4 stages because there are good things to say!

Day 1 - Bourg d'Oisans / Villard Reymond

  • Date: Thursday, June 17, 2010
  • Distance: 30km
  • Elevation: 2200mD + and 1300D-
  • Start: Palud (Ornon - 1008m)
  • Arrival: Villard-Reymond (1630m)

The pickup point is the first day in Bourg d'Oisans to Jean Marc, our guide (more on the beast => http://ethiqaventure.blogspot.com/ ).

We met the group of 5 riders: Pierre Yves (Clermont Ferrand), Raphael and Sylvain (Marne), Christophe (Côte St André) and me.

JM makes us do a little history of the internship and the spirit Trail "Running Without Borders"

Now, We've Got the Power!

A mini-bus takes us one step above the Palud (common Ornon). Needless to grill lengthening stage 7km by road from Bourg ... the path that the trail please!

We start at around 10am from the refuge management Palud the Taillefer (2056m) and Fourchu Lake (2050m), the first stop of the day.

We cross a few hamlets in the beautiful town of Ornon but in the fog and rain. Relativisons: it rained afloat Tuesday and Wednesday, some droplets will not discourage traileur ...

JM decided to cut the steep DRE (= right in the slope for riders plain) towards the refuge of Taillefer. First hot flash!

Raph, Sylvain and Pierre-Yves in the slope!

The lunch break is in the downhill quickly because the rain will return as we begin our sandwiches! Glop, just enough time to eat some pasta, at least I would have no problems with digestion!

We return to jogging on the Pouthuire of Ornon (1058m) towards the small station of Col d'Ornon (1328m).

Now the ski run "The Schuss" as we ascend.

Jean-Marc is proposing to go at their own pace and so I loose the horses to block in the road up to Col de Corbiere (1926m).
