AFFICHE-Foulees

I had long provided a way out 2:15 on Saturday morning (marathon requires preparation) is finally a 10km road much faster (label FFA) near Lyon because we spend the weekend with friends. Suffice to say that I was treated to a very good session at the threshold:

I found Taz which aims to turn in 38 'Whoa not me coconut, finishing around my record to reassure me already will not hurt ... 41'15

The starting point is given to 9.30 for two loops of 5km in the streets of Villeurbanne (not great but at least stock).

I started strong in the first 3'57 km then I turn around 4th to 7th km.

I run with a woman in her forties who has the potato, it will eventually overtake me on 6th km flight to the top 10 women.

For my part, I take a hammer impressive I'll lose 15 "until the last kilometer kilo!

I still have 100m to GPS, I'm 40'15 40'40 I will run some cool but but ... biffurque, there is still 250m!? I pass the loose end in 41'21 "a few seconds of my record ...

Taz is right before he had a big failure at about the same time ... his watch tells him 190 m too?

Bah okay c is acquired mainly to reassure themselves that I did not lose speed bodes well before the semi Chambery Sunday ;)

I will attack in figure 40 'by 6 June 2010 at Echirolles ...

In the evening return to our mountains I go for a jog with Alain night 1h recup mode which gives me a day's 1:40 and heading changes only slightly in terms Marathon ;)

Veynes 10km, 10km Gap, Ronde du Muguet

April ends, I loop my first month of training "seriously" since we left Australia. It's been over 7 months since I had not traveled more than 150km monthly with at least two split sessions in the week ...

I took the opportunity to run in three races 10km to get back into the bathtub before attempting to rise above terrible 40 'worst in late May or early September (10km Embrun May 31 / 10km from Grenoble 6 September)

  • On April 19, 2009 I ran my first 10km of the year, the Bombard (Veynes) in 43'20 light years of my record! Hard drive recovery it gives a morale blow especially since I have not done in a good state of freshness of all ...
  • On April 26, 2009 I put it in the Hautes Alpes Gap'en for the city: I finished in 42'16 ", still disappointed, but a 'gain in a week of it was already taken ...

I am not looking for already behind the ignition ... I'm a diesel!

  • : Je termine cette fois-ci en 41′15″ soit mon record personnel ! Friday 1 May 2009 I finished my two weeks of competition without interruption "The round of thrush" in Fontaine: I finished this time in 41'15 "is my personal best!

I am happy but there is still a hell of a long road before we see the figures of the 30th groin receive ... If I do not press the accelerator is another thirty that I would reach in December ... that of the age! aye aye, no possibility of running late this time ...

Purpose of May 2009 => Split 10km pace and try to take even a minute at 10km from Embrun to be held Saturday, May 31, 2009

10km Christmas Frolic - Adelaide (South Adelaide)

: Eh bien trop tard je l'ai déjà eu en avance ce cadeau, merci Christmas Frolic (toujours pas les croquettes pour chien mais bien une compétition de course à pied !). 41'41 "here is what I have written on the list to send to Father Christmas (with an ATV, a red Ferrari and a winning Lottery ticket $ 1,000,000): Well, too late I already had in advance this gift, thank you Christmas Frolic (still not dry dog food but a competition run!).

The organization is not too bad ( SA Road Runners ) you pick up a portion of the bib once past the finish line. A refueling km5 and a breakfast to finish.

The atmosphere is relaxed as ever in Australia.

In terms of my race, let the numbers speak:

  1. 4'06 "
  2. 4'07 "
  3. 4'09 "
  4. 4'04 "
  5. 4'06 "
  6. 4'12 "
  7. 4'07 "
  8. 4:18
  9. 4'17 "
  10. 4'14 "

A nice drop in rpm between Km8 and 9 (the last km is not final, I expect results)

I crossed the line in 41'41 "free sprint I even know why? Satisfied asking nothing more ...

The objectives of the year are met:

  1. Marathon 3:45 to 3:28
  2. Half Marathon 1:38 to 1:37 (could do better)
  3. 10km from 42'13 "to 41'41"

-

Now up to 2009 with new lap ahead. I've never tested over short distances, next year I have three races to set my time references and gain speed (4.5 km - 7km and 9km).

Back in France I would prepare some trails (less than 30km) for the summer, a half-marathon and a marathon for the fall (I'll have time to resume the long trips ...) Voila voila.

Brisbane Road Runners 10km

Sunday, October 5, 2008

It's been a while since I posted on my blog of course and yet I have not stopped the CAP. Currently in early land plan over 12 weeks with 3 weekly workouts to regain the form I attended earlier this month in a race organized by the club " Brisbane Road Runners "

The program, 20km, 10km or 5km. I opt for the 10km.

Not much to say about the course because it does not pass in either the downtown or in the South Bank Park. We walk along the Brisbane River, which is pretty monotonous ...

The bridge is crooked when I took the photo of bias?

In short, I confirm my first impressions: the Australians (in general) are not competitors but rather to the short form and feel (which is no worse!).

I finished 7th out of 49 for a mediocre time of 42'39 "

I do not expect to work out on my best because I do not quite regularly and the race to start at 6 am is not for me!

I do not eat anything before starting a race because I get up just before 1:30. I am a bit lost with its schedules ... The weather at this time it is perfect against the vicinity of 20 ° c, it is cool to the east coast of Australia and a vest you feel good!

However, I drop you a few pictures of the city of Brisbane ... We are currently 1000km north easily lost in the open bush. Let me tell you it is almost impossible to find a running track, in fact I have ever seen in OZ!
